Patricia Miranda, Travel Editor, Reforma

I am Patricia Miranda, Editor in Chief for Reforma Newspaper since 2005, where I’ve been working as journalist and editor of the travel section of such an important periodical in Mexico. Over the last years I have had the great opportunity to cover business, fam and press trips in diverse countries, among which I can include Spain, Italy, France, England, Scotland and some other European countries, as well as South and Central America, USA, Canada, Japan, Emirates, Indonesia, New Zealand and Kenia. In the same manner I have covered tourism fairs such as the Go Media and IPW. For me it is very important to share those scenarios that show the true spirit of each destination. In this sense, talking to people and visiting traditional places are transcendental in the texts that I write about these locations. My goal is to describe the habits and idiosyncrasy of the locals, as well as the flavor and smells of each country. I love all kinds of tourism such as those related with wellness, adventure, sustainability or culture, in addition to my passion which is to write about hotels, spas, trekking trails, wineries, foody tours, restaurants and markets.
